Air India's CEO, Campbell Wilson, in a letter to employees, has reaffirmed the airline's commitment to support the families of those affected by the recent tragic crash near Ahmedabad, as well as its own staff and wider Tata Group employees involved in the response.

In a message to employees, Air India’s CEO emphasized that the company’s responsibility does not end when operations in Ahmedabad wind down. Echoing sentiments shared earlier by Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, the note reiterated that the affected families would be regarded as “Tata families” going forward.

The airline clarified that senior representatives have been present at every such event, while taking deliberate care to avoid any disruption during private family moments.

To ensure the well-being of staff returning from Ahmedabad, Air India has mandated rest breaks and confidential professional counselling services. The airline continues to encourage employees to make use of the support available.
