ABG Shipyard lenders seek more time from RBI for SDR: Sources

Lenders of ABG Shipyard have written to the Reserve Bank of India seeking more time for dispensation of strategic debt restructuring case, according to people close to the development, reports CNBC-TV18's Ritu Singh. They said that the lenders claim legal proceedings stalled the conversion of debt to equity.Banks are keen on bringing in a new investor for a company via SDR route.
