Private-sector lender Karur Vysya Bank said on Monday K.Venkataraman has taken charge as the managing director and chief executive officer with effect from June 6, replacing P.T. Kuppuswamy.
Prior to this, Venkataraman was MD & CEO of SBI Global Factors Ltd, the Tamil Nadu-based bank said.
At 1.13, shares of the lender were down 0.44% at Rs.411.35 in a weak Mumbai market.
