It started the second shift at the plant on Sept 24. Following the unrest, Maruti Suzuki had said it will regularise contract workers at the plant and the exercise is well under way. Maruti employs 1,870 contract workers at Manesar and plans to hire 1,500 workers between Oct-Dec.
