The World Economic Forum kickstarts its 43rd annual meeting on the night on January 21, at the picturesque Davos, Switzerland with the theme being 'Resilient Dynamism', reports CNBC-TV18's Menaka Doshi.


The streets of Davos will be full with over 1000 business leaders from across the world and they will be joined by faith leaders, heads of NGOs, social entrepreneurs and political leaders like Angela Merkel, David Cameron, Mario Monty and Mario Draghi. Now this years theme is 'Resilient Dynamism'. It is the usual cocktail of sovereign debt issues. Here is good news though. Many of the business leaders seemed to strike a more positive note. They are not sure this year will be a good one but they are hopeful that next year will and that is not something we heard last year.
