Suzlon Energy, a wind turbine maker, said on Friday it has signed a partnership agreement for 1,000 megawatts of wind power projects with Caparo Energy India, in a deal valued at around USD 1.28 billion.
Caparo Energy India is a wholly owned subsidiary of AIM listed Caparo Energy. Half of the capacity will be commissioned by March 2012, and the other half by the following year, Suzlon said.
