Shares of cable television services provider DEN Networks recouped losses quite sharply in late trade on Friday, showing a recovery of 6.6 percent from day's low of Rs 178.30 on Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company raised basic set-top box price by Rs 200 to Rs 999. The hike in set-box price is to offset import duty hike.
At 14:53 hours IST, the stock was trading at Rs 190.05, down 1.86 percent, amid large volumes.
Trading volumes jumped nearly nine times to 2,16,392 equity shares as against five-day average of 24,559 shares.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 238.35 and 52-week low Rs 93.80 on 25 January, 2013 and 06 June, 2012, respectively.
Currently, it is trading 20.26% below its 52-week high and 102.61% above its 52-week low.
