The National Stock Exchange board is wary of the BCCI commitments of its new CEO Vikram Limaye and has approached Vinod Rai-led panel for same, sources said. The board wants Limaye’s undivided attention to steer NSE as the new CEO. Limaye is a part of BCCI’s 4-member panel appointed by the Supreme Court to administer the cricket body. Former CAG Vinod Rai is heading the panel. Sources have further added that the Rai panel has assured NSE board that Limaye’s role in BCCI is temporary and will be for six months only. The board, if not convinced, may request the Supreme Court to relieve Limaye of his BCCI duties post July this year. When contacted, a NSE spokesperson said: "The story is factually incorrect and we deny it."NSE is preparing for its initial public offering around July-August in 2017. Watch video for more.
