More high profile exits likely from Tata Group: Sources

After the ouster of Cyrus Mistry as Chairman of Tata Sons, more high-profile exits from the Tata Group are expected, sources say. Mistry’s predecessor Ratan Tata has taken over as the interim chairman for 4 months.Post Mistry’s exit and disbandment of Group Executive Council, more exits are likely. CNBC-TV18’s Nisha Poddar reports that one such exit is likely to be Indian Hotels' MD & CEO Rakesh Sharma.However, Tata Trusts have told CNBC-TV18 that there are no efforts to replace Sharma from Indian Hotels. Sharma had joined the company in 2014. The Trust also refused to comment on fate of other GEC members. GEC was made up of names like Madhu Kannan, NS Rajan, Nirmalya Kumar, Mukund Rajan and Harish Bhat. Watch video for more...
