Is Chennai set to be India‘s next start-up hub?

It has been noticed that a large chunk of start-up stories are from Chennai. A study by TiE Chennai has revealed that the last two years have seen angel investors fund 18 city start-ups and a chunk of these funds allocated for the enterprise software and online space.

In all, 32 start-ups have received venture-capital funds in the last year, and TiE says a few more companies could be in line for more.
