Gujarat and Maharashtra FDA to probe into Maggi Noodles

Gujarat and Maharashtra government Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ordered a probe into Maggi Noodles for presence of harmful substance called monosodium glutamate.

Recent reports claim presence of monosodium glutamate in Maggi Noodles which Nestle has denied.

The company said that the component is present naturally in raw materials and is commonly found in everyday high protein foods.
