BSE seeks removal of long-term capital gains tax exemption: Sources

It seems that the stock exchanges particularly the Bombay Stock Exchange is once again sharing its view with North Block on the reposition of long-term capital gains (LTCG) tax on equities or maybe a change in the long-term. Right now after one year, no tax – there may be a change in that definition.
