No confidence vote in AP; Cong under fire from opposition

The Congress government has come under fire from the opposition in Andhra Pradesh and is facing a no-confidence vote.

The opposition has alleged that the government is responsible for the mining scam involving Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC). They have also raised objection to tainted ministers being retained in the cabinet.
The discussions on the no confidence motion against the congress government are still going on in Andhra Pradesh assembly. Despite stiff opposition, congress said that passing the vote will be a cake walk, reports CNBC-TV18's Appaji Reddem.
