Biz momentum good; to aggressively open new pharmacies: Apollo Hospitals

As a Women's Day special, CNBC-TV18 spoke to some of the top corporates belonging to the fairer sex and asked them about the challenges they faced on the work front.

Suneeta Reddy, Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals said she never faced any challenges because she was a women. She said if one were to meet the challenges head on, be committed and pick up the knowledge – it is a world of equal opportunities.

On the business front, she said the momentum would continue be good going forward and to reduce the pressure on margins in the hospital business, she said they are focusing pricing for services than bothering about input costs.

Both the pharmacy business and the Navi Mumbai hospital is progressing in line with expectations, she said, adding that they were looking at aggressively opening new pharmacies.
