Motorists using the Electronics City flyover and Attibele toll plaza on the Bengaluru-Hosur stretch of National Highway-44 will have to pay higher toll charges from July 1.
These toll plazas fall under the Bengaluru–Hosur section of NH-44 and are managed by Bangalore Elevated Tollway Private Ltd. Bangalore Elevated Tollway officials said that revised rates will come into effect following an annual adjustment based on the Wholesale Price Index (WPI).

As per the new fee structure, two-wheeler riders using the elevated corridor from Central Silk Board to Electronics City will continue to be charged Rs 25 for a single journey, while the rates for multiple journeys in daily and monthly passes have been revised to Rs 40 and Rs 755, up from the earlier Rs 35 and Rs 720, respectively.
For cars and vans, the revised rates are Rs 65 for a single journey, Rs 95 for multiple journeys in a day and Rs 1,885 for a monthly pass, compared to the previous rates of Rs 60, Rs 90 and Rs 1,795.
Toll charges for other categories, including light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses and multi-axle vehicles, have also been increased at both the Electronics City and Attibele toll plazas.
At the Attibele toll plaza near the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border, two-wheelers remain exempt from toll.
Car and van users will now be charged Rs 40 for a single journey and Rs 1,130 for a monthly pass, up from the earlier rates of Rs 35 and Rs 1,080, respectively. However, the rate for multiple journeys in a day remains unchanged at Rs 55. Officials have clarified that the revised rates will remain in effect until June 30, 2026, as per the National Highways Authority of India’s (NHAI) annual toll revision policy.
Despite the toll hikes, many commuters have raised concerns about frequent waterlogging and traffic congestion on the flyover. They have also urged the government to operationalise the Yellow Line of Namma Metro (RV Road-Bommasandra), which will connect Electronics City and offer an alternative to road travel.
