As the merger deadline approaches, CEO and MD Campbell Wilson informed travellers that Vistara's in-flight experience is 'not going away', and the Vistara team will be joining the Air India family to 'deliver a unified, elevated experience'.
"Routes, aircraft, and the award-winning cabin crew will remain consistent on erstwhile Vistara fleet for the next few months," said a note from the MD and CEO.

As Club Vistara merges into Flying Returns, existing points will seamlessly transfer at a 1:1 ratio, with a membership tier match, said Campbell Wilson. After November 12, the Flying Returns policies will be applicable.
Air India is also upgrading its A320s with a new 3 class cabin, with will include the Premium Economy section.
