Desi girl Priyanka Chopra shines in yellow at brother Siddharth’s Haldi ceremony

Priyanka Chopra, who was shooting in Chennai earlier this month, is now in Mumbai for her brother Siddharth’s wedding with Neelam Upadhyaya. It goes without saying, all eyes are on her and her choice of ensembles for the special occasion. And the actress is not shying away either.

Priyanka posted a bunch of pictures and videos in an album on Instagram, giving everyone a peek into her brother’s Haldi ceremony, usually the first of all pre-wedding rituals. For the special occasion, the actress went into full desi girl mode, wearing a yellow embellished blouse paired with lehenga that featured a beautiful border at the hem. Her accessories included chunky earrings and bangles, while she opted for rose-toned makeup.

Her family was no less stylish. Brother Siddharth wore a yellow silk kurta pyjama that was playfully torn by a friend while applying Haldi. His bride, Neelam, opted for an embroidered corset and a draped skirt. She accessorised with floral jewellery and pink-toned makeup, looking every inch the radiant bride.

Mommy Madhu Chopra looked cheerful in a yellow saree with an orange border and matching blouse, fully embroidered from top to bottom. The two-toned saree added shimmer to her look. While her accessories were minimal, her face was brightened with a bold red lipstick.

While Parineeti Chopra was missing in action, her parents were present at the ceremony and enjoyed every moment. Her mother looked gorgeous in a bright red bandhani suit, accessorised with a statement neckpiece and sunglasses. Meanwhile, her father looked dapper in a powder blue kurta paired with stylish tan shoes.
