UCO Bank has officially announced the recruitment of candidates for the position of Local Bank Officer (LBO) in various states, with a total of 250 vacancies available. The recruitment process for 2025 aims to fill these posts, offering a promising opportunity for eligible candidates.
Vacancy Details and Eligibility
The recruitment is open to individuals proficient in the local language of the respective states. Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak the designated language fluently. The minimum age limit for applicants is 20 years, while the maximum age limit is capped at 30 years.

Interested candidates can apply online for the position by visiting the official UCO Bank website. The application period is already underway, starting from 16 January 2025 and closing on 5 February 2025. The application process involves filling out the online form, providing the required details, and submitting relevant documents.
The application fee differs based on the candidate category. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories are required to pay a non-refundable intimation charge of Rs. 175 (inclusive of GST). All other candidates, including General and OBC categories, need to pay an application fee of Rs. 850 (inclusive of GST).
Selection Process
The selection procedure for the Local Bank Officer posts consists of two stages: a Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview. Candidates who successfully pass the written exam will be called for the interview. Final selection will depend on the candidate’s performance in both stages.
The selected candidates will undergo a probation period of two years from the date of joining. Confirmation of the appointment will be made based on satisfactory performance and conduct during the probation period.
