Kareena Kapoor is fit and fabulous at 44. While she may be a foodie at heart, she also knows how to burn those extra calories with disciplined workouts. Recently, her trainer, Mahesh Ghanekar, shared a video of her fitness session at home, and it’s nothing short of inspiring.

Dressed in a hot pink sports bra, the actress’ routine focuses on building strength, endurance, and core engagement. Her workout includes equipment such as dumbbells and kettlebells.

Here’s a look at her workout routine:


The 44-year-old actress held lightweight dumbbells and moved around a landmine bar, throwing forward punches with alternating hands. This exercise helps improve balance, shoulder endurance, stamina, and cardiovascular health.
In a bear plank position, Kareena lifted one hand and the opposite foot off the floor, rotating her body to extend the leg straight out under and across her body. She then returned to the starting position, reversing the movement and repeating it on the other side, alternating legs and arms.

This exercise is known to stabilise the core and shoulders, and improve coordination, mobility, and flexibility.


Kareena then performed kettlebell woodchops, which involve swinging the kettlebell up and across the body diagonally, rotating the torso, and finishing with the kettlebell at head height on the opposite side. She then brought it back to the starting position, driving through the hips with a glute squeeze.

This move targets the core, burns calories, and engages the shoulders, back, and legs — increasing muscular strength overall.
