Nausea strikes when your stomach feels sick, and it can be triggered by various things, including a headache or when you overeat. Needless to say, it's a bothersome sensation, making even simple tasks a challenge when you're feeling queasy.

It is, however, a warning signal from the body to urge us to reflect on our dietary choices or stress management methods. Whether it fades fast or stays longer, it prompts us to sip ginger tea, opt for light meals, or simply take a breather.

To help with nausea, there are medicines called antiemetics. They stop the feeling of wanting to throw up. But these medicines can also trigger more side effects like dry mouth, feeling tired, or not wanting to eat. Try natural remedies, suggests dietician Shashank Rawat.

Rawat recommends the following home remedies to alleviate nausea.
