She even mentioned observing Karwa Chauth fasts for him, further reinforcing her claim. This led to a legal battle, further complicating the matter.
Before his marriage to Dimple, Rajesh Khanna had been in a serious relationship with actress Anju Mahendru. Their relationship ended before he tied the knot with Dimple. Over time, as his stardom fluctuated, his marriage with Dimple also suffered. Despite several efforts to mend their relationship, Dimple left him in 1984. Years later, she admitted that marrying a superstar came with its own set of regrets.
