Renowned National Award-winning actor Vikrant Massey has started shooting for his new film, White, in Colombia, South America. The project features an international cast and crew, with Massey playing the role of global humanitarian and spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
White is a sweeping historical drama based on true events, chronicling a man's unshakable conviction that ignited a revolution. After 52 years of civil war, broken peace agreements, devastating casualties, and fading hope, his determination ultimately altered the course of history.
The upcoming film takes place against the brutal backdrop of Colombia's long civil war, which ran for over 50 years. White is centred on one individual's unshakeable conviction that brought hope and transformation following decades of violence, fruitless peace negotiations, and profound loss.
The film is a reminder to all of how hope and faith can emerge even in the darkest moments, and how the conviction of one individual can really change things.
The actor has invested his whole heart in the film and has himself worked closely with the writers and directors of the film.
The movie White, helmed by Montoo Bassi and features a globally diverse production, bringing together top talent from Colombia and around the world.
A few days back, the actor won the Best Actor honour for his performance in the film 12th Fail. Now, Massey stated how grateful he is to share the award with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who bagged the title for his blockbuster movie, Jawan.
