The much-anticipated Bollywood film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, starring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor, has officially wrapped up filming. The announcement was made by Shanaya on social media, where she shared her excitement with a post that read, “Love, Deception & Surprise – A package on your way. #AankhonKiGustaakhiyan shoot wraps. The film, directed by Santosh Singh, marks the Bollywood debut of Shanaya Kapoor, making it a significant milestone in her career. A behind-the-scenes video from the shoot was also shared, showcasing the actors having fun despite the challenging shooting conditions. The film was shot in the picturesque yet freezing landscapes of Europe, adding an extra layer of realism and aesthetic appeal to the storytelling.

Adaptation of a Classic Ruskin Bond Story

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is based on Ruskin Bond’s cherished short story The Eyes Have It. The film’s plot revolves around Vikrant Massey’s character, a blind musician, and Shanaya Kapoor, who portrays a theatre artist. The unique premise, combined with the depth of Bond’s storytelling, is expected to make for an emotionally rich cinematic experience.

The script has been penned by renowned writers Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla. The film is produced under Mansi and Varun Bagla’s Mini Films, marking their second collaboration with Vikrant Massey after the Forensic remake.
