According to a report by Vickey Lalwani, the fire at Skypan Apartments resulted in a tragic loss of life. Rahul Mishra, a 75-year-old resident of the 11th floor in the adjacent wing of the building where Udit Narayan lives, lost his life in the incident. Mishra was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital nearby but was declared ‘brought dead’ after succumbing to asphyxiation caused by smoke inhalation. His relative, Raunak Mishra, who was also present in the flat at the time, sustained severe injuries.
