The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 delivered its signature mix of knowledge, humor, and heartwarming moments. The episode opened with rollover contestant Shravani Jena from Odisha, who had already won Rs 3,20,000 in the previous episode. Host Amitabh Bachchan welcomed Shravani back and introduced her fiancé to the audience, sparking laughter when he humorously commented, “Why are you all laughing? Marriage is no joke! Right now, you're chuckling, but just wait until you see what all unfolds once the wedding happens.”
As the game resumed, Shravani successfully answered eight questions and reached a prize total of Rs 80,000. In the spirit of fun, she revived her ‘Audience Poll’ lifeline, aiming for greater winnings. The day took an unexpected twist when filmmaker Farah Khan and actor Boman Irani made a surprise appearance on the set, bringing along their imaginary catering service, "khyalipulao.com." Farah announced that they would handle the catering for Shravani’s wedding, unveiling a delightful pulao and jesting, “Pehele pulao, phir humko bulao!” The lighthearted moment added warmth to the episode, with Shravani’s fiancé offering her the first bite, adding to the joyous atmosphere.
As Shravani moved forward in the game, she tackled the Rs 6,40,000 question, selecting the correct answer for the query about the Indian National Congress’s first president in 1885: WC Bonnerjee. She progressed to the Rs 12,50,000 question, which asked which ancient university’s library had sections named ‘Ratnodadhi,’ ‘Ratnasagara,’ and ‘Ratnaranjaka.’ Relying on her ‘Audience Poll’ lifeline, she correctly selected ‘Nalanda.’
With her winnings now at Rs 12,50,000, Amitabh Bachchan teased Boman and Farah about actually catering her wedding. Boman responded, “I say, we won’t even charge — we’ll do it for free!” When Amitabh humorously referred to Boman as Farah’s “business partner,” Farah quipped back, “Not anymore!” The trio’s playful banter kept the mood light and entertaining.
Shravani faced a crucial question for Rs 25,00,000, using her final lifeline, ‘Video Call a Friend,’ which unfortunately didn’t help her much. She opted to quit the game, but before she left, she took a guess at the answer: West Ham United, the correct answer. Shravani exited the show with Rs 12,50,000, leaving her and her fiancé with a lifetime of memories and a host of gifts from the show.
After Shravani’s departure, it was Farah Khan and Boman Irani’s turn on the hot seat. Farah jokingly claimed that she hadn’t directed a film since Happy New Year in 2014 because she was dreaming of casting Amitabh Bachchan in her next project. “No director's career graph really takes off until they get that blue tick — and that only happens when you make a film with Amitabh Ji,” she teased.
Amitabh replied with a grin, “They’re just saying all this in the hope that the upcoming questions will be easier, but nothing like that is going to happen!”
To add to the hilarity, Farah and Boman pulled out a “film contract” for Big B, declaring that the title would be “Jab Tak Bachchan.” Farah explained the idea behind the title, saying, “Kyuki jab tak suraj chand rahega, Bachchan ji ka naam rahega!” She even proposed other titles like “Bachchan Number 1” and “Only Bachchan,” while Amitabh, amused, began reading the playful terms and conditions.
As Big B read out the contract, it humorously promised that Farah would personally cook his favorite dishes, and Deepika Padukone would provide him with unlimited snacks — a reference to how Big B would “steal” snacks from Deepika on the sets of Piku. Farah added that even if Deepika wasn’t in the movie, she had promised to make snacks for him. Amitabh chuckled and commented, “But that’s quite a responsibility. She has someone new in her life who she’s taking care of, so will she be making snacks for us or taking care of her own family?”
The contract also listed that Banarasi paan would be served as dessert and that the shooting location would be at Amitabh’s choice. Boman suggested they could film at Jalsa, Bachchan’s residence, prompting Farah to remark, “Wahan Jaya ji hain, woh nikaal degi wahan se (Jaya ji is there; she’ll throw us out).” Another clause hilariously stated that Jaya Bachchan had to approve the script. Farah laughed and admitted, “Scripts approve nahi honge, Jaya ji has not liked any of my scripts,” to which Big B added that even if she did approve, there would be numerous changes, making it a lengthy process.
In a light-hearted exchange, Amitabh asked about his fees, to which Farah responded that he’d receive 10% of her and Boman’s KBC winnings. Amitabh pretended to negotiate, humorously suggesting a larger share. Farah then jokingly warned him, “Aap bahut khatarnaak khiladi hain (You’re a dangerous player),” with Amitabh replying, “You’re very clever; I might just take 99% of your earnings here.”

Amid the fun, Farah revealed that she was playing to support “Happy Umbrella,” an animal charity run by photographer Avinash Gowariker and his wife, Shazia. She praised their work, while Big B shared his experience of visiting their animal shelter in Lonavala. Boman, in turn, said he was supporting two NGOs: In Defense of Animals and Roti Bank, an organization addressing hunger.
This special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 was a blend of lighthearted humor and meaningful moments. Farah and Boman’s witty interactions with Amitabh brought both laughter and warmth, and their dedication to charity work reminded viewers of the show’s powerful impact beyond entertainment. Fans are left eager for the next episode to see what Big B and the guests bring to the table.
