Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan lashes out at Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri for body shaming Ashnoor Kaur; says, ‘Who granted you the right…’

Bigg Boss 19 contestants Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri were criticised by host Salman Khan for body-shaming Ashnoor Kaur.

Salman first asked Tanya and Neelam to compliment Ashnoor in a dramatic Weekend Ka Vaar moment. Then, making sure Ashnoor was present to watch the altercation, he swiftly disclosed the hurtful, private remarks they had previously made about her.

Salman Khan confronted Neelam Giri and Tanya Mittal for body-shaming Ashnoor Kaur. Salman asked them what they thought of Ashnoor at the beginning of the conversation, which led to praises like "She is looking good" and "She is looking like a princess."

"Neelam, are you proud of your gossiping?" Salman then made a startling revelation. “Tanya, you called her overweight, compared her to an elephant and a dinosaur, and said she had a "face like a balloon." Who granted you the right?" he added.

After hearing the comments, Ashnoor was obviously upset, so she confronted the competitor head-on and said, "Shame on you, Tanya." Tanya had previously said that Ashnoor's clothes "don't suit her," but Neelam went so far as to call Ashnoor "Jurassic Park" and compare her to a dinosaur.

Gauahar Khan spoke up about how disappointed and disgusted she was by the situation. She emphasised the value of kindness and self-acceptance while adamantly stating that body shaming is abhorrent. Gauahar claimed that true beauty originates from within and that demeaning others does not enhance one's own beauty.

She came to the conclusion that regardless of a person's physical appearance, they cannot be deemed truly attractive if they lack kindness.

Moneycontrol reported a while ago that out of the contestants who were nominated, Pranit More has been eliminated from the house on health grounds. He has apparently been diagnosed with dengue.
