The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2: Kapil Sharma called 'the girl in Ranbir Kapoor's life before Alia Bhatt' on stage; here's how the actress reacted

The much-anticipated Season 2 of The Great Indian Kapil Show premiered on Netflix on Saturday. The premiere episode featured Alia Bhatt, her Jigra co-star Vedang Raina, Vasan Bala and Karan Johar as guests.

Alia looked stunning in a blue pantsuit, exuding confidence and charm. At one point Kapil Sharma playfully asked Karan Johar what he sees in Alia - a friend, a daughter, or a phoopi (aunt)? To this, Karan responded, "For me, she is my first daughter," followed by a tender kiss on Alia's forehead. Karan and Alia's witty one-liners added a delightful touch to the episode.

Alia shared a light-hearted moment, saying, "Karan has a kind of sixth sense. When Ranbir and I became friends..." when Karan interjected humorously, "Okay, as if you became friends..."

Further, Kapil teased Alia saying, "I want to tell you something today. There was a girl in Ranbir's life. Should I call her here right now?" Alia, feigning seriousness, responded, "You are going to call her on this show?" Kapil calls in Sunil Grover dressed as Dafli who shared lovey-dovey moments with Ranbir Kapoor on stage in season 1. Alia bursts out laughing watching Dafli dressed in her saree and a similar coat that she wore on the episode. Laughter ensues as Dafli initially ignores RK's wife Alia and thereafter goes on to miss Ranbir and recall his moments.
