The buzz around Mirai is really picking up steam as the team recently made a memorable appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, now streaming on Netflix.
Fans are really excited as this is the first time a Telugu movie is being promoting on The Kapil Sharma Show.
Teja Sajja, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, and Jagapathi Babu were among the cast members who delighted the viewers nationwide with their enthusiasm and charm. Fans got more excitement was as Netflix uploaded its teaser.
As per Telugu Funda, unfortunately, Manchu Manoj, who plays the main villain, couldn’t join because he’s busy shooting another film.
The push for this high-profile promotion came thanks to producer Karan Johar, who’s releasing the Hindi version of the film.
During the fun teaser shared by Netflix India, Teja even joked about Kapil’s English and gave Jagapathi Babu a playful shoutout, calling him “the king of Romance.” Shriya Saran also added some humour, sharing how she struggled to understand her husband’s character in the film for years.
Plus, the teaser teased Sunil Grover stepping into the shoes of Pushpa — a nod to Allu Arjun’s iconic role — which definitely caught everyone’s attention.
Teja Sajja returns with Mirai, a fantasy-action movie that promises to be bigger and bolder than her 2024 blockbuster Hanu-Man.
Mirai, which was directed by Karthik Gattamneni, who is renowned for his stunning visuals in the Karthikeya film series, blends rich cultural storytelling with breathtaking effects. On September 12, 2025, the movie will be released worldwide.
