Maddock Films has officially unveiled the first looks of its highly anticipated Diwali release, Thama, and the excitement among fans is already sky-high.
Following the success of the studio’s horror-comedy universe with Stree (2018), Roohi (2021), Bhediya (2022), and Munjya (2024), Thama promises to take the cinematic experience to a whole new level.
The makers presented Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok – Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed. In the first glimpse, Ayushmann looks fierce and determined, embodying the last hope of humanity in a world of darkness.
On the other end of the spectrum, Rashmika Mandanna shines as Tadaka – Roshni ki ek hi pehli kiran, her look symbolizing the lone ray of light fighting against evil.
Adding to the intrigue, Nawazuddin Siddiqui transforms into Yakshasan – Andhere ka badshah. His sinister first look hints at a menacing villain who will stand as the ultimate test for the heroes.
Meanwhile, Paresh Rawal, known for his versatility, is introduced as Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal – Jo Hamesha Comedy Mein Tragedy Dhoondhte Hain, a character who promises both humor and depth in Maddock’s trademark blend of genres.
The film’s makers have teased that the first look at Thama’s much-hyped villain will be revealed on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, building further anticipation just ahead of its festive release.
The big reveal comes with the promise of unveiling The World of Thama tomorrow at exactly 11:11 am, setting the stage for a grand entry into Maddock’s expanding horror-comedy universe.
