Tamil actor Siddharth's new romantic film 'Miss You' is going to release ahead of the much anticipate and awaited Pushpa 2 starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. But the actor is not worried about his film's clash with the big budget movie like Pushpa.
While addressing a press conference of his upcoming movie Miss You, Siddharth was asked by a journo if he is nervous of this clash or his film being eclipsed by Pushpa 2: The Rule.
“There are many things that need to happen if my movie is to be in theatres in the second week. The first of them is that my film should be good and liked by the audience. About the next movie, they should be worried, and that is not my problem. If the film is good, it will be in theatres. A good cinema cannot be removed from theatres, at least not in this era where social media awareness is big," he told the reporter in his reply.
Siddharth was last seen with Kamal Haasan and Rakul Preet Singh in Indian 2, which didn't perform well at the box office. On the personal front, the actor tied knot with his long time girlfriend and fiance Aditi Rao Hydari in a simple wedding ceremony.
Talking about Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule, it is the most awaited movie of 2024 after the super success of its prequel Pushpa: The Rise in 2021. The movie is directed by Sukumar and Allu Arjun is joined once again by Rashmika Mandanna and Fahad Faasil.
Talking about Siddharth's latest movie Miss You, it is a romantic comedy and it is going to release on November 29.
Siddharth plays the role of Vasu, who happens to develop an ‘unusual love story’ with Ashika Ranganath’s character Subbulakshmi.
