Sana Khan’s mother passes away after prolonged illness, former actor requests prayers

Former television actor Sana Khan announced the death of her mother, Saeeda, on Tuesday. In an emotional message shared via Instagram Stories, the former Bigg Boss 6 contestant revealed that her mother had been battling a serious health issue.

“Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. My beloved mother Mrs. Saeeda has back returned to Allah after struggling with a bad health condition,” Sana wrote, expressing her grief and faith.

Sana, who left the entertainment industry a few years ago to pursue a more spiritual life, informed followers that the funeral prayers, or namaz-e-janaza, would be held later that evening. “Namaz-e-janaza will be performed at Oshiwara Qabrasthan after Isha salat @ 09.45. Your prayers for my mother will be helpful,” she added in the same Instagram post.

The actor did not disclose the exact medical condition her mother had been suffering from, nor did she share her mother’s age. The news came as a shock to her fans and followers, many of whom have expressed their condolences online.
