After years of speculation and countless rumours, it’s finally happening! Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are reportedly engaged and set to tie the knot in February 2026. Their off-screen chemistry has long fueled fan theories, and despite often been spotted together, they never confirmed their relationship.
Now, with reports of their engagement making headlines, fans are rejoicing over what they see as Tollywood’s most awaited union.
Back in 2024, during the launch of the Pushpa 2 song Kissik, Rashmika faced a playful question about her relationship status. A journalist asked whether she would prefer marrying someone from the film industry or outside of it.
With her signature wit, Rashmika laughed and teased, “Everyone knows about it. I know what answer you want, I know it well.” When pressed further, she added with a grin, “Let’s not delve into that right now, I’ll tell you later, personally.” Her response instantly sent fans into a frenzy that she was hinting at her connection with Vijay Deverakonda.
In an earlier interview with Cosmopolitan India, Rashmika opened up about her views on love and relationships. “I need my partner in every phase of my life,” she said. “I need that comfort, security, and empathy.” She emphasised kindness and mutual respect as the cornerstones of any relationship, explaining, “When you genuinely care for and are responsible for one another, it all adds up.”
Describing her ideal companion, she added, “Being loving, empathetic, caring, and having a good heart are essential traits. I want to be with someone who has similar qualities—otherwise, we just won’t get along.”

According to a Hindustan Times, Vijay Deverakonda’s team has confirmed the engagement news, though the couple has yet to make an official statement. While details about the ceremony remain under wraps, their wedding is reportedly planned for early 2026.
On the professional front, Rashmika will next be seen in Thamma, a horror-comedy starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, set for a Diwali 2025 release. She also stars in Homi Adajania’s Cocktail 2 alongside Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor.
