Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal will be seen sharing screen space in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
There were reports that the movie is likely to miss the March 2026 release date but now a source close to the movie told us that the film 'is on schedule and progressing as planned.'
An independent industry source said, "Love & War is on schedule, and the film is progressing as planned. There have been no discussions about a possible delay at the production end."
Love & War was originally planned to hit theaters in December 2025 but then a new release date was planned for March 2026. The makers are confident that the movie will hit screens in March next year and that there will be no delay.
Ranbir Kapoor had spoken about Love & War and working with Bhansali again. He said, ‘Love and War’ is something that is every actor’s dream, like working with brilliant actors like Alia and Vicky and being directed by the master Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I worked with him 17 years ago. I haven’t met a human being who worked so hard, who understands characters, emotions, music, Indian culture, and the Indian value system as much as Sanjay Leela Bhansali. To be on his set is tiring; it is long, and the process can be a little daunting, but as an artist, it is satisfying because he nurtures art, and as actors, it’s truly amazing so far."

Alia Bhatt is collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the second time after the award-winning film Gangubai Kathiawadi in 2022. Alia also won the National Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film.
Ranbir is reuniting with Bhansali after a gap of 18 years; he made his acting debut with Saawariya in 2007. It is Vicky's first time with Bhansali.
