Odela 2 is now making its digital debut barely 20 days after its theatrical release. The movie will be available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film's rapid shift from theatres to streaming services has rekindled interest in it, especially among audiences who were unable to see it in theatres.

Odela 2, which is a direct sequel to the 2022 film Odela Railway Station, was directed by Ashok Teja and written by Sampath Nandi, who also served as the creative director and wrote the dialogue. The story explores the spiritual and supernatural and is once again set in the ethereal and folklore-rich village of Odela.

The main character of the story is Odela Mallanna Swamy, the village's guardian deity, who protects the inhabitants from evil and unearthly forces.

The film is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video from today, 8th May.

In a dramatic shift from her well-known, glitzy roles, Tamannaah Bhatia plays the strong, central role of Shiva Shakti. She wore the same austere costume and performed emotionally taxing scenes throughout the movie, maintaining the stark, unadorned appearance of a Naga Sadhu.
