In the shared video, Nimrat can be seen saying, “Home is where the Halwa is. Every Gurpurab, I make halwa at home, known as Kada Prasad in the Gurdwara. My Nanu used to make halwa in the Gurdwara for many years. My mother learned from him, and I learned from her. So, let’s wing it. I’ll begin by making the Chashni.”

Nimrat Kaur then guides her fans through each step of making halwa. As she thoughtfully combines ingredients and adds her own personal flair, she reflects on how this cherished recipe has been handed down through generations in her family. The actress shared her deep appreciation for this traditional dish, which is often made during festivals like Gurpurab to honor the birth of Guru Nanak.

On this auspicious day, Nimrat Kaur was also seen visiting a Gurdwara to seek blessings from Guru Nanak Ji. As she entered, the paparazzi called out to her, but she gently gestured for them to stay quiet, promising she would bring prasad for them as she walked inside.
