Actress Kareena Kapoor, who is known for balancing stardom with motherhood, is going to be seen on one of the upcoming episodes of her sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan’s new talk show 'All About Her'.
In a candid conversation, Kareena shared light-hearted conversations and anecdotes about parenting her elder son, Taimur. She also revealed how her elder one seems to have developed a keen interest in cricket and cricketers.
Talking about the everyday challenges of raising two young boys in the age of social media and how does she protect them, Kareena says she often resorts to playful warnings.
“I tell them I have two eyes in the front and two at the back, just keep remembering that,” she laughed.
But it’s her elder one's obsession with cricket stars that keeps her on her toes. “The only thing he keeps asking me is are you friendly with Rohit Sharma, are you friendly with Virat Kohli? Can you message him if I can get that bat of his? I am like no you can't, I don’t know them that I can't message him,” she laughed.
In the promo of the show uploaded on Soha's social media handle, Kareena also spoke about what parenting means to her. She said it is about adapting with time rather than sticking to rigid formulas.
“I am just going with the flow,” she admitted, underscoring that raising kids in today’s digital, celebrity-driven world comes with its own unique challenges.
Other guests who are going to be seen in the show are Kusha Kapila, journalists Palki Sharma, Faye D'Souza and other experts.
Prior to the release of the show, Soha Ali Khan, spoke exclusively to Moneycontrol about her podcast 'All About Her'. She often emphasised how conversations around motherhood and womanhood need honesty and humour in equal measure. “I feel it is important for women to share their journeys without fear of being judged,” Soha said in that interview.
While talking about her show, Soha noted, “It’s about creating a safe space where women can talk openly about challenges, victories, or even insecurities. Sometimes even the simplest stories strike the deepest chord.”
Both women, who come from illustrious film families, have carved out their own voices in the entertainment landscape.
Kareena has been a part of many blockbuster films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Gomaal series, Jab We MEt to name a few. She also made her OTT debut with Jaane-Jaan.
Soha was last seen in Chhorii 2 and is also keeping herself busy with writing and now podcasting.
