Elton John has disclosed his ongoing health struggles in a heartfelt Instagram post. The Grammy-winning musician revealed that he has been battling a severe eye infection since earlier this year, which has significantly affected his vision. He wrote a long post stating, "Over the summer, I've been dealing with a severe eye infection that has unfortunately left me with only limited vision in one eye. I am healing, but it's an extremely slow process and it will take some time before sight returns to the impacted eye."

He has sustained limited vision in one eye following a severe infection after he underwent knee replacement surgery earlier this year.

Elton John expressed his sincere gratitude to the medical team and his family for their continuous support throughout his recovery process. "I am so grateful for the excellent team of doctors and nurses and my family, who have taken such good care of me over the last several weeks," the post continued.

The British pianist concluded the post by mentioning that he has been recovering quietly at home and remains optimistic about a full recovery. "I have been quietly spending the summer recuperating at home, and am feeling positive about the progress I have made in my healing and recovery so far."
