Allu Arjun's eagerly awaited sequel 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is set to hit theatres on August 15, 2024. Following the huge success of the first film 'Pushpa: The Rise,' expectations are soaring for this follow-up directed by Sukumar. Fans are looking forward to seeing Allu Arjun, also known as Bunny, reprise his role as Pushpa, and Rashmika Mandanna return as Srivalli. The pair's chemistry and the film’s dramatic storyline are expected to draw huge crowds and potentially make it one of the year’s biggest hits.

In an interesting twist, director Rohit Shetty had also slated his new action-packed movie 'Singham Again' for the same release date. The film, starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role, with big names like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Kareena Kapoor Khan also part of the cast, was anticipated to be a major competitor to 'Pushpa 2.'

However, 'Singham Again' will now be delayed. An Online entertainment portal reports that the postponement isn't about avoiding a box office clash with 'Pushpa 2.' Instead, the team behind 'Singham Again' is taking more time to ensure the film meets their high standards. Despite considerable efforts, they've found they can't make the original deadline without compromising the quality of the film.

This project holds special significance for both Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, marking their reunion on the big screen after some time apart. Rohit Shetty is particularly keen to bounce back with a hit, especially after his recent movie 'Cirkus,' which starred Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Pooja Hegde, did not perform well financially.
