Global star Priyanka Chopra, who is busy with the filming of her next film, 'The Bluff', is missing her father Ashok Chopra a lot today (June 10), as it is his 11th death anniversary.
The actress shared a video of some rare footage of her late father, where he is seen singing.
In the video, one can see Priyanka along with her father, brother Siddharth, and mother, Madhu Chopra. One of the pictures is also of the day she became Miss World. The proud dad is seen posing with his daughter.
It also has pictures of her enjoying picnics and holidays with her dad. The entire family had some fun moments.
While sharing the video, Priyanka wrote, "The light of every room. You’re still our brightest light, dad. 11 years without you, and it still doesn’t feel real. I think of you today and every day. I love you. Forever. Hold your loved ones close and tell them you love them. Time can be short."
She also has a tattoo on her wrist that reads, 'Daddy's Li'l Girl." Priyanka had gotten the tattoo in honour of her father a year before his death in 2013. The tattoo on her wrist is modelled after her father's own handwriting.
Priyanka is herself a mother to two-year-old Malti Marie. She accompanies her famous mom to the shoots and is also turning into her make-up artist.
Priyanka keeps sharing images and videos of her fun life on the sets of her shoot with Malti.
In a recent interview, Priyanka's mother spoke about the time when her husband passed away and how her children, especially Priyanka, stood like rocks. Madhu Chopra, who stays with Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas in the US, said her children did everything at the time of their father's death, as she was in shock.
