Mika Singh calls Udit Narayan his 'student' after kissing controversy: 'Har singer ko Mika Singh hi banna hai'

Singer Mika Singh recently responded to the ongoing controversy surrounding Udit Narayan’s kiss incident. The controversy, which erupted when Udit Narayan kissed a female fan during a live performance, drew massive backlash on social media.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mika, known for his own fair share of controversies, reacted humorously to the situation, suggesting that Udit might have been inspired by his past actions, the Kalesh singer also called Udit ji his "student."

Addressing Udit Narayan’s kiss row, Mika joked, “Jhumma Chumma mere ek student aaye hai, unka naam hai Udit Narayan sahab. Kahin na kahin unke mann mein meri purani controversy hi hogi. Main toh tab haalanki baccha hi tha tabhi” (My student has arrived – Udit Narayan sir. Somewhere in his mind, my old controversy must have been there. However, back then, I was just a kid). Mika then playfully added, “Udit ji, I love you!"

Mika also took the opportunity to reflect on how people, especially singers, are often inspired by others. He said, “Yaar isne aisa kara, main bhi kuchh karke dekhta hu. Toh har insaan ko, singer ko especially, Mika Singh hi banna hai.” He continued by talking about how he inspires others with his success, from farmhouses to his personal brand of swag, acknowledging that people are always looking up to those they admire.
