Rumours linking BLACKPINK’s Lisa and BTS’s Jungkook resurfaced once more after a supposed “couple item” between the two idols went viral online. This was however met with widespread skepticism and mockery from fans.

Dating speculation between the two global stars has popped up repeatedly over the years, but things reignited recently with the release of Lisa’s music video Dream Some viewers claimed the male lead resembled Jungkook, fuelling theories that the track was inspired by him. Although the claim quickly spread, fans from both fandoms dismissed it as nothing more than speculation.

Now, a new “piece of evidence” has taken over social media. During one of Jungkook’s recent livestreams, the BTS member was seen wearing a ring that some insisted looked identical to one Lisa owns. The alleged matching accessories triggered a wave of viral posts, including one that racked up over 1.4 million views, with multiple creators recycling the clip as supposed proof of a secret relationship.

But fans were quick to mock the rumour, calling it yet another attempt to fabricate a narrative out of everyday items. Many pointed out that rings of similar design are extremely common, while others highlighted how “couple item” theories often rely on coincidence rather than fact.
