Kingdom OTT release: When and where to watch Vijay Deverakonda starrer

Kingdom, Vijay Deverakonda's new action-packed spy thriller, is getting ready to come out digitally. The movie came out on July 31 and was directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who has won a National Award. Even though critics had mixed things to say about it, it got a lot of attention from audiences.

The creators have officially announced that Kingdom will be accessible to stream on Netflix starting on August 27, which is the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. The movie will come out in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, which would make it available to a vast audience across India. The Hindi version has been given a new name, Saamrajya, because of title constraints.

Netflix India posted on social media to announce the OTT debut. The message said, "In the kingdom of gold, blood, and fire... a new king rises from the ashes." Sithara Entertainments, the production company, also shared the news with a similar update.
Plot and acting

Kingdom recounts the thrilling adventure of Suri (Vijay Deverakonda), a constable-turned-spy who goes to Sri Lanka on a risky quest to find his brother Siva (Satyadev), who has gone missing. But things don't go as planned when he runs into Murugan (Venkitesh), the son of a well-known cartel leader. Dr. Madhu (Bhagyashri Borse) adds both strength and emotional depth to Suri's quest. She is also romantically involved with him.

People really liked the music in the movie by Anirudh Ravichander, especially the strong background score that made critical scenes even more intense. Vijay himself said during advertisements that the score made the movie experience better overall.

Kingdom was released with a lot of excitement and made Rs 82.02 crore over the world. Even while this number was more than the lifetime revenues of Deverakonda's breakout smash Arjun Reddy, it still wasn't enough to cover the huge Rs 150 crore budget, therefore it couldn't be called a commercial success.
