Jagapathi Babu, an actor from Tollywood, has vehemently replied to criticism of Telugu films and the recent talks about nepotism in the business. In his new YouTube video, "Preminchukundham Randi" (Let Us Love), the veteran actor talked directly to viewers and made his position on the issues clear.

Jagapathi Babu flatly denied a fan's suggestion that Telugu cinema had become "boring." "If Telugu cinema is boring, don't watch it," he remarked.

He went on to say that the business keeps making a wide range of stories that people in India and other countries enjoy. His emphatic answer showed that he still thinks Telugu movies are exciting and not boring.

The actor also talked about a harsh criticism that said nepotism makes it hard for new talent to get further in the business. Jagapathi said that being the son of famous producer-director VB Rajendra Prasad made it easier for him to get into movies. He did say, though, that family background alone can't guarantee success or a lengthy career in the sector. "I come from a family of filmmakers, and the only thing it helped me with was getting into the business. He said, "I had to fight to stay alive."
