Ishaan Khatter reveals he objected to shirtless scenes in Netflix's The Royals, says "Iss scene mein kya zarurat hain?"

Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter recently starred in Netflix’s The Royals alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Nora Fatehi. However, Ishaan was seen shirtless in several scenes flaunting his washboard abs, which instantly became the talk on social media.

However, Ishaan initially was not on board with the shirtless scenes and recently revealed that he fought with the makers over the scenes.

In a recent interview with Mashable India, Ishaan said, "It’s that kind of character… jo shirt nahi pehenta hai. Usko nahi jamta (He who doesn't wear a shirt doesn't look good).”

The actor recalled, “To be honest, now it will look like… but since I had committed, I went for it, but I did fight with them on certain days that ‘Iss scene mein toh shirt pehen sakta hain. Iss scene mein kya zarurat hain (He can wear a shirt in this scene. It doesn’t require him to be shirtless)!’”
