HYBE, the powerhouse behind global K-pop sensations like BTS and SEVENTEEN, is setting its sights on the Latin music industry with its bold new project, Santos Bravos. This marks HYBE’s first-ever Latin boy group audition program, which is officially slated to premiere in August. The company recently unveiled the show’s concept along with photos of the 16 contestants, igniting excitement across international fan communities.

Santos Bravos will spotlight a diverse lineup of contestants representing Hispanic and Latino regions including Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Peru, Spain, and the United States. These 16 young talents will embark on an intense journey through a transformative training camp set in Mexico. The program aims to push their limits, refine their skills, and prepare them for the world stage in hopes of debuting in a groundbreaking Latin pop boy group under HYBE’s banner.

At the helm of this ambitious venture is legendary director and choreographer Kenny Ortega, renowned for his iconic work on High School Musical and Descendants. As the head creative director, Ortega will guide the artistic direction of the show. Joining him are key figures in the music industry: celebrated producer Johnny Goldstein, known for his high-energy hits, and RAab Stevenson, a sought-after vocal coach who has worked with some of the biggest voices in pop and R&B.
