Citing veteran lyricist Gulzar’s iconic song “Beedi Jalaile,” he questioned, “Jigar kahan hota hai aurat ka? This is misogynistic for me. ‘Zuban pe laga namak ishq ka,’ why is he talking about the tongue of a woman?” Honey emphasized that he grew up listening to such lyrics but is now being unfairly targeted. “Why am I the only one called wrong?”

Honey, a key figure in revolutionizing Punjabi music and making it a staple in Bollywood, expressed frustration over being made an "easy target."
