Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is preparing to tie the knot with his rumoured girlfriend, Ana de Armas. However, they are allegedly to create history by getting married in space.
The couple, who both share similar interests in adventure, have talked about several out-of-the-ordinary options in an effort to make their celebration genuinely special. Although they haven't been finalised, the plans show the couple's passion for extreme experiences and their wish to stay away from anything "ordinary."
According to Radar Online, a source shared that the duo shared a passion for adventure, which is the reason behind their bonding. The source said, “One of the things that really bonds them is how much they both love doing these daring feats, so having a wedding that leans into that really appeals to both of them.”
The duo are not officially engaged, but Tom has already reportedly started planning.
The source said, “Tom is obsessed with space travel, so the idea of being the first couple to marry in outer space really excites him. They’ve even talked about doing something skydiving-related, perhaps exchanging vows mid-air.”
The couple reportedly didn’t want anything ordinary. “Whatever they do, they want it to be as far from ordinary as you can get,” the insider added.
The source further noted, “He and Ana both want an extravagant wedding, regardless of what people are going to say.” According to reports, Tom, who has been married three times—to Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman, and Katie Holmes—hopes this will be the relationship that lasts.
However, the official details about the wedding are awaited.
The 37-year-old Cuban actress and the 63-year-old "Top Gun" star have maintained a relatively private relationship. But since they began dating earlier this year, they've been dating fast. Their romance was confirmed in July when they were seen holding hands while on vacation in Vermont.
Though it is presently on hold, there is also talk of them collaborating on a movie called "Deeper," which is a supernatural ocean thriller.
