At the young age of 21, Jennifer Nicole Rivas, a well-liked Honduran television host and TikTok creator, passed away.
On October 1, 2025, she was discovered at her Tegucigalpa residence. Her family says she died after having an epileptic seizure. They verified that she had been given an epilepsy diagnosis and was taking medicine to treat it.

She had made a name for herself on television and the internet thanks to her contagious energy and bright smile. In addition to creating digital content, she was a presenter on the Honduran channel CHTV and a student at a university who was pursuing a degree in journalism, a field she was very interested in.
The news of her passing was shared on Instagram by El Showsero TV, a local podcast hosted by YouTuber Gazù Bbx. Jennifer had been part of their show El Eventazo: Pickle War, competing on the Los del Barrio team.
“With deep sorrow, we at El Showsero TV and the entire El Eventazo: Pickle War team mourn the irreparable loss of our beloved contestant Jennifer Rivas, from the Los del Barrio team,” the statement read.
“A person full of energy and enthusiasm who left a lasting impression on every moment we shared. Our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time."
Fans took to social media to express their disbelief and sorrow. “How sad, may God comfort the pain of her loved ones,” one person wrote. Another asked, “So young why did he die?” while many others simply shared, “What happened to her? R.I.P.”

With more than 17,000 Instagram followers and over 100,000 TikTok followers, Jennifer had established a strong online presence. Her last post, which was made the day before she passed away, featured her smiling broadly on a pickleball court with the words, "Getting ready."
Her sudden death serves as a heartbreaking reminder of how fleeting life can be. Joshua Blackledge, a 16-year-old TikTok star, passed away earlier this year in North Carolina after being shot.
