Natasa Stankovic turned heads across Mumbai on Friday afternoon, driving through the city in her newly purchased orange Land Rover Defender worth Rs 3.04 crore. It was hard to miss the striking SUV, and even harder to miss Natasa’s calm confidence behind the wheel. The actor and model has always had a taste for sharp, stylish cars, but this one felt more symbolic than flashy. It marked a fresh phase in her life, one she seems ready to own publicly and unapologetically.

Here’s the thing. Natasa has been navigating a personal chapter that has kept her under constant public scrutiny. Ever since her separation from Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, every move of hers has been watched, analysed and occasionally criticised. Yet her outing in the bold new Defender felt like a quiet, personal celebration. Not of material success, but of rebuilding, reclaiming space and moving forward at her own pace.

To understand the weight of this moment, you have to look back a little. Natasa and Hardik married in May 2020 and welcomed their son, Agastya, soon after. They renewed their vows in 2023 in grand Hindu and Christian ceremonies, a two-day celebration that became a social media moment for its warmth and emotional sweep. But the picture-perfect image began to crack months later. By mid-2024, whispers of trouble became louder. In July that year, the couple released a joint statement confirming their separation.

The statement struck a tone of honesty and restraint. “After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us.” They made it clear that the decision, however painful, came from a place of clarity rather than conflict. They also addressed their son directly in the statement. “We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness.”
