Actress and former After School member Lee Joo-Yeon is once again in the spotlight, not only for her rumored romance with BIGBANG’s G-Dragon but also for her refreshingly candid remarks about marriage and relationships. The 38-year-old star appeared on the July 22 episode of SBS TV’s popular variety show Dolsing Fourmen, where she opened up about her views on marriage, revealing surprising personal stories that have sparked widespread attention.

During the episode, host Lee Sang-Min directly asked Lee if her reluctance to marry was influenced by her father. Lee responded with heartfelt honesty, sharing, “A few years ago, my father used to ask, ‘Isn’t it time you got married?’ But recently, he said, ‘If you’re just going to end up divorced, don’t bother getting married.’”
Lee didn’t shy away from discussing the topic further, even expressing a progressive view on marriage itself. “I understand what Sang-Min means,” she said. “I think marriage is something you should try at least once, even if it ends in divorce.”

Perhaps most surprising was her admission about why one of her past relationships ended. When asked whether being a “good kisser” is important in a partner, Lee boldly said, “Yes, that’s number one. I’ve actually broken up with someone because of kissing. He was great in other ways, but we just weren’t compatible in that aspect.”
